According to the information from the NBS, China’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.3% y-o-y and up by 0.4% m-o-m in November 2021. Food price increased by 1.6% and non-food price went up by 2.5%. CPI went up by 2.4% in urban and 2.2% in rural areas compared with last year.
China’s Producer Price Index (PPI) went up by 12.9% y-o-y and maintained same as last month. Purchase prices of raw materials increased by 17.4% y-o-y and 1.0% m-o-m. During January to November, PPI increased by 7.9% y-o-y and Purchase prices of raw materials increased by 10.7%.
